Sunday Breakfast - worth being woken up early for...(right, Danny??)

We had waffles almost everyday at our hotels, but none of them came close to the yummy goodness of mine. I have been making waffles ever since we got our waffe maker for a wedding gift, but they were never amazing. I recently found this recipe and they are definitely up to par. They take an extra minute and an extra bowl to whip the egg whites, but it is worth it. I didn't change the amount of fat in the recipe at all, but next time I think I will do half oil and half melted smart balance and see if anyone notices. In my waffle maker, I used a full 1/3 c. of batter for each side and I just watched them - 5 to 7 minutes. I had six extra waffles that are now living in my freezer, but will probably be gone by the end of the week.
