Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

I am on dessert duty tonight for the big Willis BBQ so the decision to make cookies was a no brainer. I don’t love having the oven on, but it isn’t for too long and I really like cookies! I wasn’t sure what kind until someone on FB mentioned a Banana White Chocolate Chip Loaf (I will get that recipe soon…) and I wondered about doing a Banana Choc Chip Cookie. Here is the recipe I kinda sorta used, but not really. I love these cookies because I cut so much sugar and fat that I don’t feel guilty sending these to work in Danny’s lunch or noshing on them at home. I bet I could sneak even more WW flour and noone would notice.

These are the ingredients I used:
2 c. white flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour (baby steps…)
1 tsp baking powder (ppl said to do that in the reviews so I listened)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. smart balance light
2 eggs
dash of vanilla
3 mashed bananas
1/2 c. mini chocolate chips

I ended up lowering the oven to 375F after my bottoms were getting too dark. Just watch your cookies or they will look like my first (test) batch. Don’t worry, I took care of those…:)
